All TAH CCC America Team Participants!! Our next meeting will be on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at the Western Reserve Historical Society. We'll meet in the Rotunda area for coffee service at 9:00 a.m. and then get right to work. Morning activities will be hands-on. Lunch will be served. Afternoon activities will consider content and curriculum and standards.
Year One Focus Teachers: You attended the Oct. 23rd Workshop with Robert Bruno that explored the steel industry and Bruno's book Steelworker Alley. On Dec. 11th, please be prepared to share some of the ideas you learned that day or things you may have used or will use in your classroom teaching. This is your opportunity to share ideas with your teammates and colleagues.
DVDs of Struggles in Steel will be distributed. Nature's Metropolis by William Cronon (Norton 1990) will be distributed for our next Book Discussion on Sat. Feb. 7, 2009.
