Of men being held Guantanamo's detention facility, the US military commander said,
"They are smart, they are creative, they are committed," Admiral Harris
said. "They have no regard for life, neither ours nor their own. I
believe this was not an act of desperation, but an act of asymmetrical
warfare waged against us."
When I read this, I was outraged. Not only would it be nice if these folks were tried for crimes and imprisoned or released, but it would be nice if such ridiculous claims were challenged in the media.
